How the Unique3D printing process works
1. Upload Your Model
Go to the quote page and upload an STL, OBJ, or 3MF file. It's parsed directly in your browser, so nothing leaves your device at this stage.
2. Choose Material & Quality
Pick a material (PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, or ASA), a colour, a layer height, and an infill percentage. Every option updates the price live.
3. Get Your Quote
See dimensions, estimated weight, estimated print time, and an itemised price breakdown -- material, printing, handling, packaging, shipping, and GST.
4. Confirm Your Order
Add your delivery details and submit. Our team reviews the file and confirms the final quote before anything goes to print.
5. We Print & Deliver
Your part is printed, quality-checked against the confirmed spec, and shipped to your address.
Why the quote is labelled “estimated”
The price shown on the quote page is calculated from your model's real geometry — its bounding box and solid volume — using the same pricing rules our team uses. It is not, however, a full slicer simulation: it doesn't model supports, travel moves, or per-geometry wall placement the way Cura, PrusaSlicer, or Bambu Studio would. That's why every quote is confirmed by our team before your part goes to print, and why an unusually complex or non-manifold file may see its final price adjusted slightly from the on-screen estimate.
